Peru - Lenin Flores
A sparkling and citrusy coffee from Finca El Morito.
No coffee menu is complete without a crisp and sparkling washed caturra.
This microlot from Lenin Flores of Finca El Morito in Cajamarca, Peru, is deliciously clean and citrussy and reminds us of lemon meringue, prosecco and caramelized ginger. It’s roasted light with filter brewing methods in mind but would also make for a bright and sweet espresso!
Nestled within the natural surroundings of the forest, the farm embodies a commitment to harmonizing with the local environment. Finca El Morito, supports over 50 coffee-producing families in San Ignacio. They prioritize the use of compost over fertilizer and have excellent post-harvest processing. The farm, managed by David and Lenin Flores, spans 150 hectares and boasts a diverse range of varietals.
We look forward to working with Common Goal Coffee to bring more of them to you.

Recommended Resting
To get the best out of our coffees we recommend resting them. We have found for espresso the optimal age is 10 - 21 days after the roast date and for filter brew methods we find our coffees start tasting best after 3-4 weeks after the roast!
